It was 12 years ago today Dale Earnhardt was killed completing the last lap of the Daytona 500. Incredible that it has been twelve years since that day... A day that seemed wonderful at first with Dale blocking the field so that his drivers, Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. could finish 1st and 2nd.
