A little about Heather!
Thanks for sharing the night with me!

My daytime is spent keeping up with my daughter Abbie. She loves the beach, manatees and lighthouses so we are in the right place! My son is a computer guru. He downloads everything. I think he's trying to download the kitchen sink as I'm typing this..

Actually, my favorite sport is shopping followed by more shopping (and hockey on the tube to remind me of home-Ohio).

My fav's? Oh yeah, gotta have my dose of George Strait, Alabama and Sugarland to make me smile!

That uh boy!

Toby Keith praises Obama

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Barack Obama is getting praise from Nashville, courtesy of one big, patriotic country star.

Toby Keith, perhaps best known to non-country audiences for his post-Sept. 11 song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," says he's a Democrat, and was impressed by the senator from Illinois.

Keith has said in the past that the 2002 song — which included lines aimed at the Taliban like "we lit up your world like the Fourth of July" — was more patriotic than pro-war.

Asked while promoting his new movie "Beer For My Horses" about the role of patriotism in the current presidential election, Keith replied: "There's a big part of America that really believes that there is a war on terrorism, and that we need to finish up.

"So I thought it was beautiful the other day when Obama went to Afghanistan and got educated about Afghanistan and Iraq. He came back and said some really nice things.

"So as far as leadership and patriotism goes, I think it's really important that those things have to take place. And I think he's the best Democratic candidate we've had since Bill Clinton. And that's coming from a Democrat."

Fay..wow..

Brad keeps busy on his tour bus! He is artsy, eh?

From his blog:

Hi Everybody. Sorry I've been missing in action the last few months.SO MUCH has happened, and I'm speechless at the good fortune I've had lately. I have been preparing for the new tour daily for the last few weeks. Drawing the new cartoon for a tour is an incredible undertaking, and most of my free time has been spent animating to reach the deadline. I've included a photo of one of the scenes in the new animation of the band in their bathing suits at the beach. This is really what they wear there if you are curious.

The last few weeks I got to record with with some amazing people for this guitar record,  a few surprises, and among them B.B. King, Steve Wariner, Vince Gill, and some I can't mention yet. Trust me you'll have a ball listening to this.

And one of the most fantastic experiences of my life was getting to film the music video for Waitin' on a Woman with the one and only Andy Griffith. I can't tell you how wonderful that experience was. He put so much of his heart and soul into this project. I am forever in his debt for the gift of working with him and becoming friends. I cannot wait for you to see it. If you don't cry at the end I'll give you your money back.

And then there's the tour. It's gonna be insane. I hope you love it.
And more than that I hope you show up!

Any way, we will be posting results from the first night in Alba-
Quirky so check back.

I've missed you guys but we'll make up for lost time on the new tour.

Here we go.
