Well, here's a little bit about me... I was born in the winter of 1958 in a little farm house in New Palestine, Indiana. I spent most of my formitive years here in the Sunshine State as we moved to Vero Beach in 1972. I graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1976 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy! Anchors Aweigh! I was honorably discharged in 1980 when I began my family. I am the father of three beautiful daughters who are all grown... My extended family now includes two more as well as NINE grandchildren! After attempting several different career paths in the construction and trucking industry, I finally found a home on the radio... I have worked in Christian radio, adult-contemporary radio, but my home will always be on Wave 92.7.

The Possum , George Jones Has Died
This news truly saddens me, though kind of expected. You never know how it will effect you till it does. I could go into a long line of sappy words but will focus on what this man has done for music. Truly a genius with his vocalizations and interpertation.
As a kid I would ride with my dad in his pick-up headed off to his favorite fishing hole and it would be the Possum's songs coming out of that dusty ole speaker on his dash. Certain songs will do that to you take ya right to being 6 years old again goin fishin' with your dad. Man how I miss him :( gonna miss George Jones too in a totally different way.
George Jones thank you for the songs and my memories associated with them may they live on for ever. Now who's gonna fill them shoes?
